Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply whenever you use FitCrew, in the iOS or Android app or on the web. By creating an account or using FitCrew, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use FitCrew.
The privacy policy explains what FitCrew collects and who can see it.

Who can use FitCrew

You must be 18 or older to create a FitCrew account. When you create one, you confirm that you are.

No tolerance for objectionable content or abuse

FitCrew has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Your name, username, photo, challenge names and descriptions, chat messages, and anything else you add must not be hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, or illegal, impersonate anyone, or share someone else’s private information.
Don’t bully, threaten, or harass other members, and don’t pressure anyone to exercise in a way that could hurt them.
FitCrew refuses names, usernames, challenge text, and chat messages that include language it doesn’t allow. No filter catches everything, so please report what gets through.

Using FitCrew fairly

Don’t misuse FitCrew: don’t try to get into accounts or systems that aren’t yours, overload or disrupt FitCrew, copy or collect other members’ information, create accounts automatically or in bulk, or add activity you didn’t do to win a challenge.

Reporting and review

To report a member, open their profile, tap the ⋯ button at the top, and choose Report. To report a challenge, tap the flag at the top of its page. To report a message in a challenge’s chat, touch and hold it and choose Report message. Choose what’s wrong, and the report goes to FitCrew. FitCrew doesn’t tell anyone who reported them.
FitCrew reviews every report within 24 hours. When something breaks these terms, FitCrew removes it, and removes members who post objectionable content or abuse others from FitCrew.

Blocking

To block a member, open their profile, tap the ⋯ button, and choose Block, or choose Block after reporting their message. They leave your Crew, and neither of you can see the other’s profile, activity, or chat messages, or send the other a Crew request or challenge invitation. FitCrew doesn’t tell them.
You can unblock people in Profile → Settings → Privacy, under Blocked.

Health and safety

FitCrew is for motivation, not medical advice. Its goals and challenge targets aren’t recommendations for you. Check with a doctor before starting or stepping up exercise, take part in challenges at a level that’s safe for you, and stop if something hurts.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You’re responsible for what you add to FitCrew from your account.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete account, in the app or on the website. Deleting it can’t be undone: it removes your activity, challenge progress, Crew, chat messages, and the challenges you created, and signs you out everywhere. The privacy policy explains what deletion removes and the records FitCrew keeps afterwards.
FitCrew removes content that breaks these terms, and removes members who post objectionable content or abuse others, as described under Reporting and review. It can also suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms in other ways.
If FitCrew ever shuts down, it will email members at least 7 days before, so you can download your data first from Profile → Settings → Privacy → Download your data.

Limits on liability

FitCrew is free and provided “as is”. It can be unavailable or wrong at times: health data can be late or missing, and challenge results depend on what your devices record.
As far as the law allows, FitCrew isn’t responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or injuries from exercise you choose to do, and FitCrew’s total liability to you for anything to do with FitCrew is limited to ₹1,000.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or takes away rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes about FitCrew or these terms go to the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, unless the law where you live lets you bring them in your own courts. Before going to court, please email support so FitCrew can try to sort it out.

Changes to these terms

The date at the top identifies this version of the terms. If these terms change, the date at the top changes too. FitCrew emails members at least 7 days before a material change takes effect. Using FitCrew after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms; if you don’t, you can delete your account.
When you create an account, FitCrew records which version of these terms you accepted, with the date.
